    Evan Moor Educational Publishers

    Paperback (Evan-Moor Corp, March 1, 2001)
This book tells you everything you need to create a wide variety of activity centers that build critical thinking skills. Required materials are inexpensive and readily available. As students complete the tasks in each center, they will practice the skills of estimating, interpreting, sorting, classifying, organizing, designing, following directions and more. Every center has complete teacher directions and reproducible student directions and record sheets. All necessary forms and patterns and a center sign are provided in full color. There are up to ten different centers to create for each season of the year. Centers can be set up as a series of individual activities done over a period of time during an appropriate season or as a "carnival," where students spend two to four hours on one day touring several season-related centers.
